The Unicel C-8409 Replacement Filter Cartridge is a high-performance filtration unit designed to keep pool and spa water clean, clear, and free of impurities. With approximately 90 sq-ft of filtration area, this cartridge effectively captures dirt, leaves, fine sand, and other particles circulating in the water, helping to extend the life of the filtration system and improve overall efficiency.

It is constructed with 4 oz pleated polyester media, providing an optimal balance between dirt-holding capacity, durability, and ease of cleaning. The cartridge features approximately 174 evenly spaced pleats, which maximize the effective filtration surface without causing excessive pressure drop.
